This is a great little venue .great atmosphere.And the band that were in last night 2 tone skafull were absolutely amazing .if you’re into the ska scene these boys are totally brilliant and well worth going to see had a brilliant night and would recommend anyone to visit boyces barrel.thank you so much for a brilliant night

Great micropub, has all manner of fine ales and top quality wine at reasonable prices. Its run by founding members of the Colne Blues Society, who also host great quality live music usually on Thursdays and Saturdays. Atmosphere is friendly & the instructions for locking the toilet doors are provided in all languages, including braille!

This was a fantastic micropub to go drinking at, with many decorations on the walls like signs and posters! The staff were friendly, prices are solid and the bar is well-presented. I enjoyed a pint of Pale Ale, sitting comfortably at a large table!

I wouldn't visit Colne for drinks without a trip to Boyce's. Everyone says hello, the beers good with always a sensible verity and you never feel unwelcome (even as a Yorkshireman).
